Form 3 printer #1 / leak & repair

In early March, after a little over a month in use, the clear resin tank film was holed … probably by a print part that had come loose.

About 2 ounces of resin had run down into the printer body, liberally coating the LPU (where the laser and galvanometer live)

The laser window had one large line where resin had been cured / adhered. That was removed with extreme caution, the LPU was wiped down with IPA, and then the top housing / window was removed for careful cleaning of the window, ‘rollers’ and all surfaces.

Once the window was visibly free of streaks, the parts were reassembled.
